Switching Places at our Nottingham Shop

After 5 years building an impressive reputation in Nottingham, The Dandy Gent Barbershop will have a change of ownership as Sarah hands over the reigns to trusty barber Josh to lead the team into 2024 and beyond!

On Christmas day Josh becomes official owner of the shop, with Sarah, Austin and Shaun by his side.

“Nothing will change as far as our clients are concerned,” Says Sarah “its business as usual, we've got a winning formula here, so Josh has no wish to change anything.” She continued.

Sarah launched The Dandy Gent in Nottingham for Shane O'Shaughnessy, owner of the group's two Derby shops, several years ago inside Hopkinson's Antiques Centre near Nottingham's train station, and after four years of establishing a healthy it was time to move on and build still further.

“Since being in Hockley, we've gone from strength to strength,” Continued Sarah. “Month on month we are consistently growing, its doing great - I'm just ready to take a step back and work a five day week again!” she smiled.

Josh has been barbering for around eight years and part of the Dandy team for five. “I can't wait to get start this new role - its a great opportunity and I'm ready for the challenge.” Said Josh.
