Free Back-to-School 'Kuts 4 Kids' at our Notts Shop

The Dandy Gent  has joined UK barbers up and down the country in supporting 'Kuts 4 Kids' - a campaign aimed to boost the self-esteem of underprivileged children by providing them with a great haircut completely free of charge.

The Hockley-based  shop is offering free kids haircuts for local families from 22nd to 27th August - the last full week before children go back to school.

“We’re hoping that children from less well-off families will get a confidence boost from a cool haircut to show off, and a memorable barbershop experience with my team.” Said Shane O’Shaughnessy, founder and owner of The Dandy Gent barbershops and grooming products. “We know its a really difficult time for everyone at the moment, and families can’t necessarily afford quality haircuts for their kids  - we just want to help in some small way.”

The Nottingham branch, based on Heathcoat Street in Hockley - one of three in The Dandy Gent’s portfolio of traditional barbershops - has pledged to provide free cuts for children using its online booking system for the six day period.

To access the scheme families are invited to text 07502879884 with their postcode - or book directly on The Dandy Gent’s booking system for the Nottingham branch only.

This scheme is being spearheaded by global hair product brand Dapper Dan, who will also be providing a free product to everyone taking up the offer.
